Aaron & Brittany | Romantic Fall Wedding at Cupola Barn in Oconomowoc, WI

Oh my gosh- I’m so excited to finally share Brittany and Aaron’s day!!! All the fall vibes are felt with this wedding! Brittany and Aaron shared a slightly damp, but beautiful fall day full of love, excitement, lots of smiles and snuggles. I have to talk about the weather and get it our of the way, because it was a bit finicky; but they embraced it and didn’t let it bring them down on the special day they planned. I remember I was actually totally mad at the weather, because it wasn’t supposed to rain at all! Like, no rain in the forecast when I left Stevens Point and headed to the Milwaukee area the night before. The day arrived and a few sprinkles in the morning greeted me as I left for Cupola Barn- okay, we can handle that. But, it was followed by bands of cold, steady rain, almost a downpour during their ceremony- which no one ever wants, but it was certainly memorable nonetheless!

I started the morning off with the ladies and details where they were busy getting pampered in the cutest little ‘She Shed’ while the guys were wrapping up a few details in the barn. There were plenty of smiles to go around and everyone was perfectly cozy tucked away in the She Shed. I headed over to the guys where Aaron finished his last detail in the ‘Man Cave’ before we headed out for a few photos with the guys. It was then time for Brittany to slip into her gown and she was just radiant; her beautiful lace gown perfectly complimented her and the lovely venue they chose. We headed out for a few photo with the ladies before getting ready for their ceremony.

Aaron and Brittany decided to go for it with an outdoor ceremony- they weren’t going to let a little rain get in the way of their dream wedding! Things were looking pretty optimistic as guests took their seats. The processional started and I think one of my favorite photos from the entire day is Aaron’s reaction to seeing Brittany for the first time! I love the genuine blown away expression on his face. Shortly after they made it down the aisle, the skies opened up on them and provided a refreshing shower and blessing over their nuptials. After some giggles they shared their promises and sealed it with a kiss!

We took a few family photos before guests headed in to warm up. We had some fun with the bridal party before reserving a few moments for Brittany and Aaron’s bridal session. Although it wasn’t raining anymore, we were damp and cold. I have to take a moment here and applaud Brittany. It is NOT easy to be chilled to the bone and make your photos look as beautiful and charming as she did. I mean, we were shivering, and yet she pushed through and her photos turned out just darling!

We headed in shortly after to warm up and Brittany and Aaron enjoyed their guests company a bit before dinner. I captured their lovely details and decor- isn’t the space just stunning?! I absolutely adored the warm inviting atmosphere and bright light pouring through the windows. Even more impressive was all of the decor, nearly all of which Brittany made herself! We shared several good laughs over dinner before Aaron and Brittany shared their first dance surrounded by their nearest and dearest. The party was kicked o and the dance floor was full! With the rain mostly gone for the evening, we headed out for Brittany and Aaron to share their ‘First S’more’ before I said goodnight for the evening. It was such a perfect day I was so honored to be a part of and document. Here are a few of my favorites!
