Andrew & Valerie | Trillium Creek Barn Wedding

Andrew and Valerie shared an absolutely beautiful day surrounded by the deepest love!  They wanted a quaint and intimate wedding centering on their faith with close family and friends around them.  They chose Trillium Creek Farms as their stunning backdrop and the barn provided a warm and inviting atmosphere to a rather damp day.

I arrived a little before their evening ceremony to capture their benevolent details that were so carefully thought-out, and a few getting ready images as Andrew and Valerie giggled away with family in their suites!  They planned a ‘first-look-without-looking’ and it was obvious these two were just taken with another!  The feel-good emotions were just flowing from everyone around them as they shared a moment together before walking down the aisle!

We were lucky to sneak in a few photos on a rather damp day in-between raindrops a few short moments before their ceremony.  Valerie is just a natural and had one of the best twirls I have ever photographed, and Andrew looked quite handsome in his grey-blue suit!

The barn provided a welcoming and cozy space for their ceremony; one of the most emotional and loving ceremonies I have had the pleasure to capture.  {{{Oh, the feels!!!}}}  I mean, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house (yours truly, included)! Centered and strong around their faith, Valerie and Andrew made promises to another and God before family and friends.  A very special song was sung by a family duo- and their voices were so ethereal and alluring.  They sealed their promises with a kiss before enjoying a meal where many great laughs were had, and some more happy tears.

Since it rained earlier in the afternoon, we headed outside for a short night session before Andrew swept his bride off her feet and they were off to start their lives together as one! These two are so very affectionate and in love with another- it’s so very easy to see in their images.  They had a charming day filled with an abundance of love and support!  Congratulations again Andrew and Valerie!

A very special side note: I have to give many thanks and photo credits to my friend, Jeremy Albright of Studio 455.  Due to a surgery I had a couple of days before Andrew and Valerie’s wedding, I had very limited mobility.  (Doctors orders were to stay home and rest- but seriously, how was that an option for me when these two love birds were getting married?!)  Still, I called out for extra help keeping in mind I was unable to shoot the way I typically do.  Jeremy was an amazing help (and friend); if not for him I would have been way in over my head.  It was hard to pass some bigger responsibilities to him because I’m truly in love with photographing weddings and naturally take the lead, but I confidently knew my clients and I were in great hands when I had to take a step back. Biggest thanks to Jeremy for saving the day!!!  Here are a few of my favorites:
