I’m so excited to finally share Allie & Brad’s feature from their beautiful spring wedding! It’s been a crazy couple of weeks, so their feature has been on my mind and I’ve just been dreaming of how lovely their photos are- burning with desire to share these two hotties with you!!!
I started the morning off early with a Sentry World escort; driving around the grounds to scout some new locations. Since I had just shot another lovely wedding at the same venue the day before, I wanted to ensure Brad and Allie’s photos looked different, like their own photos, and shined with originality. After selecting a couple of new locations (with approval from Sentry), I met the girls in the bridal suite where they were getting pampered and relaxing to some great tunes. As the girls giggled the morning away and I worked on the carefully chosen details; I just adored Allie’s heirloom earrings from her momma and handkerchief from her great-grandma. The guys arrived to share a drink and have the first of many toasts to their dear friend, Brad! With beverages in hand, they headed up to put boutonnieres on (which is always a favorite part of my day) before Brad and Allie shared a first look.
I went back to visit the ladies and Allie slipped into her gown- and it was amazing!!! She totally rocked that full skirt, combined with a peek-a-boo bodice and cathedral veil- what a stunning bride!
As I mentioned, I wanted their first look and bridal session to be uniquely theirs, so I chose a location that was tucked off and away quite a bit. As Brad anxiously awaited, Allie arrived glowing and ready to see the man she loved more fiercely than any other! The light and surrounding trees made their first look magical; I especially love the moments just before their first look and the black and white of Allie glancing just off camera a bit. We then went into an adventurous bridal session and covered a lot of ground before heading back to the wedding party to get the guys and girls together.
Guess began to eagerly fill the seats as the bridal party lined up for Brad and Allie to make this day official! They had a unique and loving ceremony with a traditional Hawaiian lei exchange, performed by Brad’s brother, Kyle. They sealed the deal with a kiss and after a few family photos they headed in to relax and enjoy their nearest and dearest while I captured some detail photos. Brad and Allie certainly made an entrance (pro wrestling style) with Stone Cold’s entrance and a Stunner to his USHER! Seriously, it was amazing to see! There were many laughs and great company shared before Allie and Brad snuck away for a golden hour mini session! Congrats again Allie and Brad, thank you for asking me to share in your special day!
