I had such a memorable time at Cal and Jen’s wedding the last weekend in September! The leaves had just started to change and there was a crispness in the air; fall was definitely moving in! I started the morning off with Jen’s details while the ladies arrived from the salon. The shared some snacks and smiles while I worked on Jen’s final touches. There was a buzz in the room as multiple talented creatives came together to stylize the venue. He beautiful cascading bouquet was so elegant and perfect for their early fall wedding; I loved the floral she chose throughout her wedding day!
It was time to get Jen in her gown and get the girls outside for some photos before the guys arrived! Her dress was just perfect for her (I’m a sucker for lace); I loved the detailed neckline and back. We headed out for some quick photos (it was rather chilly out) and the country club offered a stunning backdrop! The ponds were like giant mirrors, the hills rolling in the background. The girls were great to work with and shared some big laughs. Jen was a amazing and continued right into her stunning bridal session despite the chilly air. I loved her details and eyelashes! Girl, you rocked that mini session!
The guys arrived and I grabbed Cals details before get finished getting ready. I loved the light and space the country club had to offer, especially the fireplaces to keep us cozy! The guys headed out for some fun photos before Cal’s mini-session; and he rocked his as well! Quite a handsome guy, I must add!
There was a buzz in the air as guests began to arrive and the outdoor fire pit was lit. Family and friends filled the entire ceremony space and surrounded Cal and Jen with love as they made their promises to another. There were plenty of laughs shared in-between intimate moments as the exchanged their vows they wrote another. They sealed the promises with a kiss and we were off for portraits!
We had some fun with group photos before a quick bridal session Cal and Jen shared alone. It was really quite chilly (I believe 40* and one of our first days that chilly so we were all still adjusting. You would never be able to tell in the photos; they were total rock stars and we got some amazing shots before heading into the party! (My favorites are by the pend!!!)
The room was filled with so much love, and plenty of shenanigans throughout the night! Cal and Jen know how to throw a party, and they certainly did! Their speeches were not only entertaining, but filled with love. Jen’s Dad gave one the most interactive speeches; his self-proclaimed love for crowd involvement certainly made it memorable! After a wonderful meal the danced the night away, celebrating their love! Congrats again Cal & Jen! Here are some of my favorites!
