Clint & Sarah | Lake Nepco Rustic Wedding in WI Rapids, WI

Clint and Sarah shared the most amazing day and had the best after dinner ‘golden hour’ mini photo session in the lake!  I have actually known Sarah and Clint for quite some time now, first meeting her several years ago when I shot her sisters wedding.  Fast froward a year or so and we did her senior session, followed by her brothers.  then she and Clint announced their engagement and I was super honored and thrilled to be asked to document their day.  They have made me feel like part of their family over the years, and I have to say their a great group of wonderful people to be with!

The morning started off at the Cobblestone Hotel where I worked on Sarah’s details while she finished some last minute wedding details.  Clint and the guys were at Lake Nepco finalizing the decor and other arrangements.  Just as I finished up, I headed down for a few last details of Sarah’s hair before she met her mom for make-up.  The room was full of giggles (and some outbursts of excitement, lol) as her mom finished up and helped Sarah slip into her gown.  I of course had to see what the guys were up to and grabbed a few photos of Clint getting ready.  I found it super fun and kinda’ cute (sorry Clint and Conrad) how excited Conrad was to help Clint get ready.  (He is Sarah’s brother-in-law and I photographed his wedding if your following.)

Once they were dressed in their best the walked down an enchanted aisle surrounded by family, friends, and the great outdoors.  They shared several laughs and memorable moments durning their ceremony before we headed off for their bridal session.  And Oh. My. Gosh!  Sarah is a doll and she and Clint were SO much fun to work with.  I love how they played along with my sometime ridiculous requests (like dancing).  The light was perfect, their day was beautiful, and the chemistry these two have is amazing!

We then headed in for a great party where many laughs were had (particularly around Sarah’s driving abilities- sorry Sarah!) as well as many great memories were brought up around Sarah and Clint and their time together.  We were very lucky to have an amazing, hazy golden hour just before dancing started where I thinks some of my favorite photos were captured!  They shared a wonderful first dance, each with their parents, and a special surprise dance with Sarah’s Grandpa that brought the entire room to tears!  Congrats again Sarah and Clint, here are a few of my favorites:
