Genny & Matt | Stevens Point County Club Spring Wedding

Genny and Matt shared a memorable spring day filled with smiles and love!  The girls started the morning off at the salon getting pampered and sharing mimosas where there were plenty of giggles and smiles to go around!  I worked on the details at the church and was just finishing up as the guys arrived- everyone was in great spirits and ready to go for the day!

Matt adjusted his final details before we headed outside to get a few photos with him and the guys (hoping the storm clouds to the south would stay away).  I could tell this group was going to be fun; it’s easy to see how well they all know one another with no shortage on jokes!

Genny slipped into her gown before sharing a reveal with her bridesmaids.  After many oooh’s and ahhh’s, and a few tears, it was time to share a special moment with her Dad.  He stepped around the corner and needed a moment to take it all it; his baby girl was getting married and she was radiantly glowing in her gown before him!  It was a very sweet moment shared by the two of them, and I have to admit I was crying myself behind the camera.  After a few tears, her brothers we invited back for their revel (and possibly a few sibling jokes) before the girls headed outside for their photos where we had loads of fun before heading in for their ceremony.

Guests started to eagerly fill the church pews as Matt and Genny anxiously waited to get married!  They decided to save their first look for the aisle, and let me tell you, it was the sweetest thing ever!  Genny, glanced down just before she entered the church with the light glowing behind her, and it was an ethereal image!  As she made her way towards her husband-to-be, there weren’t many dry eyes (including Matt’s).  They shared a lovely and warm ceremony surrounded by family and friends before sealing it with a kiss!

We then headed to the Stevens Point Country Club where the party would later begin for some group photos and their bridal session.  Thank the Heavens above; the skies didn’t pour down on us- we didn’t even get a single sprinkle or snowflake, although the forecast threatened otherwise!  We were ecstatic we could do photos outside and started them off with a champagne toast and some group photos.  Honestly, one of the rowdiest groups I’ve had and I loved every moment of it!  After a few photos with Matt and Genny’s party, they spent some time alone for a sweet bridal session.  the chemistry these two share is electrifying and it really shows in their imagery!

We then headed in for the party where plenty more laughs (like, some of the BEST Dad speeches I’ve heard), memories, and special moments were shared!  After a cloudy day, I wasn’t sure if they would get a sunset or not… but ya never know!  Would you believe, just a few minutes before the sun set the sky shared some soft pastel hues with them- perfect for a Spring wedding night!  So we seized the gift the skies were giving and snuck out for a min-session before the dancing was underway.  Once back inside and those special dances were shared, it was a party!  Thank you again Matt and Genny, for asking me to share in your special day!   Here are a few favorite’s from your wedding day!  *A special thank to Allison Mosley for her amazing talent and assistance with Matt and Genny’s wedding*
