Brandon and Hailey shared a perfect spring day surrounded by family and friends! The morning started off with giggles and glowing smiles in the bridal suite where Hailey and the girls were getting ready! I worked on their carefully selected details as the girls enjoyed good company and were pampered with hair and make-up! I had so much fun with their details, and especially love getting creative with ring shots! I was (thankfully) able to get Hailey’s gown outside for a quick photo before the wind picked up!
After a great start to the morning, I photographed Brandon as he finished up his final details, ready for the biggest day of his life! He has the most beautiful baby blues that just glow in the light outside! With the help of his trusted friends he was ready and awaiting to see his bride. I went back to photograph Hailey as she slipped into her gown and finished her last details. She was just radiant!
Hailey and Brandon chose an intimate ‘First Look’ before their ceremony, and it was the sweetest ever! I love it when clients take that moment to have with one another before the whirlwind of the day starts. They shared the longest and tightest embrace that would bring anyone to tears; it’s always an honor to photograph such a special moment.
We were able to do a few quick photos and most of a bridal session before the wind really picked up! We tried for a few more photos but it quickly became relevant it was best to head inside as we were all getting wind blown! That worked out perfectly well, as Brandon and Hailey chose a gorgeous venue as their backdrop for their wedding day, which offered beautiful backgrounds for photos inside as well. We were able finish up the posed photography needs before their ceremony, freeing Brandon and Hailey up for their cocktail hour to mingle and enjoy their guests, which gave me the opportunity to capture their details!
They shared a pleasantly breezy outdoor ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest, before sealing the deal with a kiss! Soon after, guests were seated for dinner where some precious words were shared and many laughs were had before the dancing was underway.
The light outside was just amazing, the wind had died down, and it was the perfect opportunity to sneak away for a few brief most for a mini golden hour session! As difficult it can be to step away from your party and guests briefly, Brandon and Hailey thought it was worth the benefit for a little alone time and a mini bridal session. Honestly, I think some of my favorite images are from their golden hour session! We then headed back in to enjoy guests and get some dancing in! Congrats again Hailey and Brandon; thank you for asking me to share in your special day!
