Michelle and Dan shared a beautiful (and blustery) Wisconsin spring day surrounded by family and friends! I was so eager to capture their day, (their wedding being the first of this season for me- yay!), and they sure did set a beautiful tone. I started the morning off at their new home where they were getting ready. I heard busy footsteps run to the door (I was certain was one of the kids) and Dan excitedly answered! I LOVED his energy and knew it was going to be a fun day filed with smiles!
They shared an intimate morning with just the kids getting ready and the final details together. Dan and Charlie took the basement, and Michelle and the girls occupied the master bedroom. There was a delightful buzz throughout the house as they got ready and close family started to arrive.
Dan and Michelle decided on an intimate first look before their ceremony to have some time set aside for just the two of them. Dan’s energy and eagerness had me smiling ear to ear as I captured those suspenseful moments before his bride turned him around to see each other for the first time! They shared some sweet moments together before inviting the kids outside for a few photos to capture their new family.
Guests gathered inside out of the chill for a very warm and inviting ceremony in their living room. It was the sweetest to see Charlie escort Michelle down the aisle, even if he was a little bashful. Michelle and Dan shared the most thoughtful and loving words with another before sealing the deal with a kiss! We did a few family photos before heading to a local park for a fun bridal session where we caught some great moments and the love these two share!
We then headed to The Berkshire where guests were arriving and a fabulous party was planned! Dan and Michelle were surrounded with all of their nearest and dearest for an amazing dinner and stellar DANCE PARTY!!!! We headed out for a few quick photos in the ally before I said goodnight and they danced the night away! Congrats again Dan and Michelle, and thank you for asking me to capture your day!
