Nicole and Drew shared a magical day surrounded by family and friends! It may have only been the middle of November, but Wisconsin brought winter early with just a touch of snow which kissed the trees and ground, setting the stage for absolutely dreamy photos! I started the morning off with the ladies in the bridal suite where the tunes were bumpin’ and the bride was smiling! Mimosas were passed around as the girls got ready and giggled away. Nicole was just a stunning bride! I mean seriously- she looked like a porcelain doll with her soft milky skin tone and darker features like those lashes, lips, and hair! She made a beautiful winter bride and was such a pleasure to work with! Once her and make-up was finished up, she slipped into her gown with the help of her mom and sisters with her crew all around her. I couldn’t help myself and we did a min-bridal session before I headed over to the guys!
Drew was with the guys just around the corner in the grooms room relaxing with some college football and snacks. I loved the details he had gifted the guys, Game of Thrones anyone..? (Winning!) Drew got his details on while his brother helped with his boutonnière. They enjoyed a few laughs and made a couple toasts to the groom before we headed outside for Drew and Nicole’s first look!
These two shared the sweetest moment together and chose to brave the cold and head out for their first look! Would you look at Drew’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time?! What a sweet guy! After their first look they went right into their bridal session like a couple of rockstars! Where did these two come from?! I mean, I gotta give them some amazing credit for just going with it for nearly 45 minutes in the cold for photos!
We headed back in and warmed up by the fire before grabbing the rest of the bridal party and out for the group photos. This group was AMAZING and so much fun to work with! They had me laughing the entire time, and you would never guess it was a chilly 24* out! I love how easy they were to work with. We worked quickly and headed in for a few more photos by the grand staircase before the ceremony.
Drew and Nicole shared a warm and inviting ceremony surrounded by their family and friends from all over- none of which from the state of Wisconsin. That’s right, family and friends traveled great distances to celebrate their destination winter wedding with them! There wasn’t a dry eye as Nicole walked down the aisle to her sweet love, where they made their promises to another in front of those they cherish. Their sweet ceremony was performed by Nicole’s Uncle (I love it when family and friends are incorporated into ceremonies) and they sealed it with a kiss before heading up to the reception!
They shared a lovely dinner over some thoughtful (and funny) toasts before dancing the night away. Would you just look at the way these two look at another?! They are so in love and it’s so easy to see. Congratulations again Drew and Nicole and thanks for asking me to share in your special day! (I truly do wish you lived closer so we could get together for dinners!) Warm wishes to you both and may your endeavors be exciting and full of love!
