Trisha & Dillon | Romantic Late Summer Wedding in Stevens Point, WI

Excuse me while I gush over these two and their wedding! Gah- I’m obsessed with them! I started the morning off with the ladies at Trisha and Dillon’s lovely home in Plover with Trisha’s carefully selected details. I then headed about a minute down the road to find the guys at their church for Dillon’s final touches before we headed down to Galecke Park for some fun photos with the guys. Before I headed back to the ladies to capture Trisha’s final touches, Dillion handed me a letter he wanted me to give Trisha to read before they left the house. (I totally asked if she was expecting this letter, he said no, and I jokingly gently scolded him for possibly making her cry after her make-up was done!). I headed back to the house where Trisha read her letter before slipping into her gown- and oh my gosh was she radiant! We then headed to the park for the ladies to get a few photos done before heading to their church.

Guests started to arrive at Trisha and Dillon’s church, St. Bronislava. They eagerly took their seats and the bridal party processional started. As Trisha made her way to her groom, there weren’t many dry eyes in the room! They shared a warm and inviting ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest making their promises to each other before sealing it with a kiss! We wrapped things up at the church with some family photos before heading to their reception.

I have to be so honest here and say- the next part of their day was my absolute favorite- and the photos tell the story better than I could! Dillon and Trisha had been through a TON with the pandemic affecting their original reception plans. With only a couple of short months before their wedding, they decided to make the last-minute decision to move their reception to Trisha’s parents place in the edge of town, and I think it was an AMAZING decision!!! (We actually did some engagement photos there last year, and while we were there I jokingly asked them why they weren’t having their wedding there?!). Fast-forward a year and one pandemic later and that space became their venue, and what a beautiful space it was. They did everything themselves, decorated the tent, moved the vendors, worked out all of the details so they could have the day of their dreams. Not to mention the photo opportunities – GAH! I mean, this wedding party was a stellar group to work with, the location was incredible, and Trisha and Dillon were a dream! We had the most stunning bridal sessions and they shared an amazing party with the company of their nearest and dearest. And I can’t not mention their insanely gorgeous first dance photos during sunset!!! I hope you enjoy looking through these photos as much as I enjoyed capturing and editing them! Congrats again Trisha and Dillon, here are a few of my favorites from your day!
