I met Garret and Angelina for her dream fall engagement session at Schmeeckle Reserve and around campus where they met ! It was perfect- the leaves were changing, it was nice and warm, and they were giggly as could be! Unfortunately we have had the wettest fall I can remember and the weather was calling for rain during their planned session time. No worries, we bumped it up about four hours. Well, we still totally got rained on the entire session, but we embraced it and it was totally worth it!
I always have an umbrella on hand in case we get a little rain, and we totally used it. I think it’s cute in some photos, and other Angelina and Garret were the best sports and totally had the ‘a little rain never hut anyone’ attitude! Once the showers became a little more than what we wanted to embrace, we headed in for a mini session where Angelia spent most of her time while in school, the Noel Arts Center. It was the perfect break from the weather we needed and offered a great environment for a few photos! We then had one last opportunity to quickly capture a few last photos outside before the clouds really emptied over us so we grabbed a few around the university. Garret and Angelina ended with dancing in the rain before we called it as it really started to come down with rumbles of thunder around us. I loved their passion for life and enthusiasm during their session- a little rain wasn’t going to get them down! Congrats again Angelina and Garret; I’m looking forward to your wedding next summer!
