Karina & Logan |Dreamy Summer Wedding in & Stevens Point, WI

I first met Karina on a chilly day last April at a local coffee shop to hear about the plans for her upcoming summer wedding!  She gushed over her adorned fiance, Logan, their fun and energetic wedding party members that are family to them- (blood or otherwise!), with family centered around their day.  At the time, I had an associate shooter who worked with me and I was already booked for her wedding day, but my associate was available.  We totally hit it off and both knew we were a good fit, and Karina excitedly moved forward with booking my associate, getting both of us (associate and me) throughout the process.

Fast forward nearly a year later and their wedding plans were in jeopardy with threatening restrictions and shutdowns due to the Covid 19 Pandemic.  With an ever-so-changing situation, they pushed forward with a fierce tenacity knowing they were getting married on June 27th no matter the circumstances, they were just unsure what it would look like.  Due to the circumstances Covid created, my other wedding moved their date, making me available for Karina and Logan’s day!  It was a little bittersweet for me as I was saddened for my clients that had to push their date back, but I was so very excited that I would now get to be there to document Logan and Karina’s day!

Their day arrived and it couldn’t have been more beautiful!  It was a perfect summer day with big blue skies above us; not too hot, not too humid.  I started off at the Holiday Inn where the ladies were busy getting ready.  A few of the girls were finishing up at the salon around the corner as Karina was working on her final touches.  I worked on the carefully selected details for their day as the ladies giggled in the background.  I made it over to the guys, (whom were lookin’ so dapper in their blue suits) to capture Logan’s final details before heading back to the ladies where Karina slipped into her gown surrounded by her besties.

Logan and Karina opted to share an intimate first look before their ceremony.  We went out to Lake Emily for a beautiful forested backdrop and pristine lake.  They shared a lovely and intimate moment together, a sweet and romantic bridal session, before inviting the bridal party off of the bus for some fun photos.  We stopped by the lake for a few quick photos (these are some of my absolute faves- look at Karina in her gown!!!) before heading out over rolling hills and farm fields to their church in Manawa.

Guests were invited to a warm and loving ceremony and soon everyone took their seats and the bridal party made their way down the aisle.  There wasn’t a dry eye as Karina, escorted by her Dad, made her way to Logan.  They shared a an inviting and special ceremony filled with beautiful music.  They sealed the deal with a kiss, and after a few family photos we were off to the party!

Guests were invited to the Holiday Inn for a lovely dinner.  Many laughs, and possibly a few happy tears, were shared over a delicious meal before they danced the night away!  Thank you again Karina and Logan for your trust in me to capture your special day; I’m so very happy I got to be there for you!  Here are a few of my favorites!
