Okay folks- one of my most favorite senior sessions yet, you’re gonna wanna slow your scroll for these! I first started chatting with Sydney’s mom this past winter at a work gathering for my husband (as they work together). Fast forward to this summer and the collaboration began; I was absolutely THRILLED to work with a swimmer and the creative gears started turning right away.
I knew I wanted to end in the water with the sun setting, so we started off at Schmeeckle Reserve where the golden light was dancing down among the trees. Sydney arrived with her entourage (mom, dad, little sister, and bestie of course) and we hiked in a short ways, having fun with her photos. There were plenty of jokes to go around- we were quite the motley crew! All kidding aside, Sydney totally rocked her session. I loved her selection of outfits and willingness to play along with my silly requests.
The whole session she was fantastic, and I was eagerly awaiting for her uniform photos! Knowing she is a strong swimmer with multiple medals, trophies and accolades, I couldn’t wait to have some fun and get in the water myself. Honestly, like I said above, one of my favorite sessions because we embraced her talents, got wet, celebrated her strength and achievements, and had a total blast while doing so (even if we were a little hungry).
