Walk for Wags 2018 | Portage County Humane Society Community Fundraiser

As always, we had a great time at the annual Walk for Wags event held at Pioneer/Pfiffner Park in Stevens Point!  This is a yearly event I look forward to every summer; I love donating my time and services for the fur babies!  Walk for Wags is an annual fundraising event for the Portage County Humane Society where the entire community is welcomed to come out and enjoy an afternoon filled with fun geared towards our four legged friends and families.  There are always plenty of drinking & swimming stations for the puppers, games and prizes for the kiddos, and plenty of treats for everyone!  Raffel prizes and the annual pet costume contest is always a fan favorite!  Stevens Point’s mayor Mike Wiza came down to be the official emcee of the event, and special guest Mike Lucas, Portage County’s Sherriff as one of the official ‘judges’ for the annual pet costume contest.  A shout out to all the wonderful vendors that come together to help make the event a great success and an amazing community full of love for the fur babies!
