Brian and Shelby shared a bright and silly session on Lake Petenwell! I have to say, I think we were all so very excited to get out and enjoy the beautiful warm day (we had just gotten 30 inches of snow two weeks prior- some of which was still melting!) so the weather was very welcomed! They wanted to include their daughter and fur baby in a few photos, so we started off with a mini family session right on the beach near where Brian proposed! Their daughter is such a little sweetheart and was more than excited to show me how well she could twirl, although it proved to be a little trickier in the sand! After some fun on the beach together, Shelby and Brian took some time for just the two of them and we headed into the forest- one of my absolute favorite places to photograph! There is always so much opportunity mother nature offers up- and she did not disappoint! I love how dramatic some of their images look due to the dark forest and light filtering through the trees, while others are bright and happy with light dancing all around them! They shared plenty of laughs (these two are the best of friends and that is easy to see) and some intimate moments where we slowed down a bit and they whispered sweet nothings into each others ears, making their session fun, lighthearted, and dynamic!
