Mitch & Olivia | Classic and Elegant Wedding in Central WI

Mitch and Olivia shared a day full of emotion and all the feels- like I was in tears multiple times throughout their day!  We did a fair amount of travel for this adventurous couple and I’m so excited to share their day!

My morning started off with Olivia’s carefully chosen details, right in their home in Monetllo.  I love it when I work in a location so close to a couple (like in their home or family home) because the details just have more of a connection.  The girls were giggling away as I worked on carefully documenting her beautiful gown and jewelry.  I thought the interior of their home was so adorable, I worked right inside keeping things closely connected to their story.

I then went down the road to the guys- and walked straight into a party!  They were getting ready at Mitch’s parent house and were full of laughs!  After we finished Mitch’s details I took the guys outside for a few photos before heading back to the girls so Olivia could get into her gown.

It was an emotional and surreal moment as Olivia slipped into her gown with her girls and mom by her side.  She was a glowing and blushing bride with an effortless beauty that just shown from her!  The nerves were a little high as we headed down the road for a first look, but I knew once they saw another everything would be perfect.

We met up at a local park where we placed Mitch first, his adoring bride awaiting.  After carefully getting them together without seeing another, Olivia turned her groom around and it was magical!  They heard each other tight and Mitch admired his bride with the most genuine smile and kindest eyes.  We went into their bridal session and stopped at the firehouse where Mitch works before heading to the Clauson Family Theater Barn for their ceremony!

Olivia and Mitch were surrounded by their nearest and dearest for a loving and beautiful ceremony where they made their promises to one another before sealing the deal with a kiss!  We headed outside for a few family photos before driving down the road for their reception!

We arrived and capture some details as guests mingled and congratulated the newly weds!  We enjoyed an absolutely wonderful dinner before Olivia and Mitch snuck out with us for a golden hour session; and although we didn’t get much golden light due to cloud cover, we did get some magical moments with them- some of my favorite photos of the day!

We headed back in to celebrate and dance the night away!  Congrats again Mitch and Olivia, thank you for asking me to share in your special day!  A very special thank you to Sara Baillies for her second shooting and amazing talent!
